It was one of the famous pre-WWII clubs of Romania, always among the first in national championship.
During WWII, due to Vienna Diktat of 1940, when Transylvania was incorporated into Hungary, C.A.O. activated in Hungarian championship, won in 1943-1944, as "Nagyvaradi Atletikai Club" (NAC).
The last known official appearance was in Divizia A, in 1962-1963, where it demotes and dissapears. |
