Team of the matchday - Round 11 (1-4-4-2):
Jean Bogdan (FCM Bacău) George Ogăraru (Steaua București),
Nicolae Goian (FCM Bacău), Ionuț Badea (Dinamo București), Cristian Ionescu
(Rapid București) Andrei Prepeliță (FC Argeș Pitești), Daniel Munteanu
(Oțelul Galați), Mihăiță Pleșan (Universitatea Craiova), Dorinel Munteanu
(Steaua București) - Slaviša Mitrović (FC Național București), Sandu Negrean
(Gloria Bistrița)
Jean Bogdan (FCM Bacău): After more ineffective matches,
the goalkeeper of FCM Bacău was the best player from the field in the
match with Sportul Studențesc, succeeding to save very hard shots sent
by Mazilu, Rusu, Bucur or Cruceru. Without his lightning reflexes, Bacău
would have lost the match with the team from Regie at a difference of
more goals, and the performance of Bogdan made the officials to forget
that before this match they wanted to transfer a new goalkeeper...
Daniel Munteanu (Oțelul Galați): He made a good game
against Apulum, succeeding to score twice, in minutes 5 and 72. At first
goal he got a cross from left side from veteran Tănase and send the ball
in the net with the head. In 72 minute he received a pass from Crăciun
from right side and headed again.
Nicolae Goian (FCM Bacău): The tall player of Bacău succeeded,
when nobody hoped anymore, to bring the equalization. He scored in 84
minute with the heel, former player of Ceahlăul deviating the ball in
the post of Stăncioiu after a free-kick from 23 metres. The captain of
Bacău would have signed in summer a contract with EA Guingamp, but the
sum asked by the owner Sechelariu, 200.000 usd, was considered too much
by French team.
Mihăiță Pleșan (Universitatea Craiova): Even his team
was humiliated at Bistrița (Gloria having at a moment 4-0), Pleșan showed
that he is the single player who deserves to play for "white-blues".
The international of Craiova scored a goal with the head, after a cross
of Luțu, and in 87 minute he scored from free-kick from 25 metres, the
ball striking first the bar, goalkeeper Câmpeanu being just a simple spectator.
Slaviša Mitrović (FC Național București): The Bosnian
has returned from Al-Ahli (United Arab Emirates) where he was loaned.
The coach Olăroiu didn't use ever Mitrović as titular, he playing just
in the final of matches, 26 minutes with FC Argeș, 12 minute with Farul
Constanța and 15 in Regie with Sportul Studențesc. In all these matches
the Bosnian was as non-existent, his good form from last seasons being
only a remembrance. In the match with Politehnica Iași, the score at the
final of first half was 0-0 and it seemed that Iași will win at least
one point in Cotroceni, especially they had a good moral, the previous
match from Bucharest bringing them 3 points, against Steaua. Desperate
that his team didn't score, the coach Cosmin Olăroroiu made a clever change,
replacing Australian Ryan Griffiths with Slaviša Mitrović. And the goals
started to flow in the post of Arcanu, Chihaia scoreing twice, Gabi Popescu
one and Mitrović three goals: min. 52, Ghindeanu came on left side, crossed
and Mitrović scored; in 56 minute Mitrović surpassed two defenders and
shot under Arcanu; in 65 minute he finalized a cross from Caramarin.
