On a field full of mud, the hosts dominated permanently, but didn't succeed to score, not even from penalty kick, in first half. Till 85 minute the defence of Viorel Hizo worked, but then Romulus Miclea scored and Poli was in ecstasy. Pandurii hoped to score in last minutes and in 90 minute Adrian Toma rejected the ball from the line of the post. In extra time Doorel Bernard received red card and Pandurii obtained a penalty kick! Oțelul came at Bacău thinking that could repeat the performance from the match with Dinamo, 3-0. But the players succeeded better. For Bacău, this new defeat is like a sentence. Argeș started the match offensive, wishing to win the match. The strikers of Argeș had no ideas and lost many balls at the margin of penalty box. Dinamo was received at Constanța with a hate which probably just Americans have for Bin Laden. The first opportunity of the match had Farul, by Guriță, who was one to one with keeper Cristi Munteanu, but shot near by the post. Jiul was very optimist after the victory with 5-1 in front of CFR and played very relaxed, but had a surprise. The defence of Jiul was broken by Sportul, the visitors not knowing what to do. George Șoltuz fouled Costin Curelea in penalty area and Tiberiu Bălan opened the score from penalty-kick. In 34 minute Ionuț Mazilu didn't forget that he is the topscorer of Divizia A and scored second goal for Sportul. In second half the students continued the recital. Hagi didn't come at București to defend. But Timișoara received at the beginning two goals and was difficult for Poli to think at victory.
